6-year old Youtube PublicWire video on why Nixon went public via WCVC:

Primary (stated) reason was to 'help propel [them]' -- Illegal Burger and what was then El Senior Sol, now Kalaka Mexican Kitchen -- 'into a national brand.'

Was Nixon really just looking for an excuse to steal investors' money (the most popular theory of late), but spun a good cover story?

Um ... sure, that could have been his secret plan all along.

But he still operates both restaurants. And he's got Brenda Hamilton -- a "going public" expert -- working for him again.

So, why not have a second go of it? If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Hopefully all of us currently holding shares can get out before the more nefarious aspects of his secret plan kick in.
