AI is going to change everything a lot faster than your average person would imagine.
It will have to be reined in, because it is going to destroy jobs at an incredible rate. My best guess is that will start happening in 3 years.
It has the potential to improve medicine exponentially. It will be a boon to radiology, to name one discipline of medicine.
It will allow ophthalmology to take a giant leap forward, imo.
Ditto with drug development.
If used for the betterment of humanity, it will be wondrous.
But it has a very dark side.
