...not much of a point tho.....as who wouldn't jump at the chance to collect 200 mm for 20mm?. Again, very ironic because that is the exact same point I've been laying down here for years....ie, if the patents are really all that and worth hundreds of billions of dollars, then why and how could the voip provider community and or big investors in general.....WILLINGLY choose to NOT get froggy and leap at the chance to grab such a PRICELESS gold mine, not only for it's monetary attributes for years to come, but also to put a stop to any and all competition, not to mention the vast power of being in total control of the biggest best for of communication ever developed, voip......and allow any of those competitors to grab the patents at any moment, most likely for a billion or 2. Just does not make sense. Against human nature. Against ALL nature. And the reason why no one will answer the often asked question about would they buy vplm if they had the money? Simple and quite pertinent question but they can't answer because doing so would cause the embarrassment that comes along with YES, which immediately begs the question....well, then why hasn't any of them done so in the past 15 yrs the patents could be had.......or NO, which immediately begs the question, well, why the heck not? It is the critically though out conclusion, therefore, that clearly infers, same as the build of an atom is inferred, that they all know the patents simply ain't all that and that the purpose of what LOOKS to be just another patent troll, is in reality an insider enrichment scheme. Did you know that lord Emu of eGipped was already found guilty of unfair self enrichment by a jury of his peers? It's an eminence front.
