Recently I was taken to task in strong words here because I suggested that the profit margin of 18% could be a gross and not net margin. I suggested that a possible net margin might be 2%. I was ridiculed for this number as far as I remember. In a different post I stated very recently that the shareholder letter of January 4 had more or less the same content as a similar letter sent several weeks ago.You can see if I was right in OTC markets financial section in a statement dated December 21. When it comes to the gross margin you see in the news today that John Park confirms that the profit margin of 18% is the gross margin. Those few of the posters here who has any knowledge of business will know that it is totally impossible to calculate the net margin on the basis of the gross margin. A company can easily lose moneÿ with a gross margin of 18%. We have to wait several months for the first quarterly report to see what the net margin might be.
