Nostra Terra Oil and Gas CEO on Fouke field growth plans, 5,000 barrels a day target

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company PLC CEO Paul Welch talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s strategy to scale up production and drive growth from its existing base of operations in East Texas and West Texas. Welch explained that Nostra Terra is currently focused on the Pine Mills field, a long-life, shallow onshore field with low operating costs and consistent profitability. “It's been an exciting field for the last 75 years and we expect it to be an exciting field for the program for the next 20 to 30 as well,” he said. Since taking over as CEO around nine months ago, Welch has led the company to profitability by cutting costs and increasing production. He highlighted two successful well workover programs that have effectively doubled production. A key highlight is the Fouke area, where new drilling, including the upcoming Fouke-3 well, could deliver significant volumes. Welch pointed out that these wells can initially produce around 120 barrels per day—compared to the average of 6 to 10 barrels from the Pine Mills wells. If enhanced recovery schemes are implemented, the output could potentially double. Welch reaffirmed the company’s ambitious growth target: “This is a company that's going to be making 5,000 barrels a day in the next 3 to 5 years.” The focus remains on building from a solid, profitable base, with production costs in the Fouke area as low as $3 to $4 per barrel, ensuring resilience across various oil price environments. North Bay Resources identifies potential of major gold deposit at Fran Project

North Bay Resources CEO Jared Lazerson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the discovery of a significant mass tonnage gold deposit at the Fran Gold Project, following an extensive review of prior exploration work. This includes data from diamond drilling campaigns between 2001 and 2018, as well as geochemical, geophysical, and 3D modeling analyses. Key findings reveal that past drilling—totaling over 18,000 meters—intersected large gold-bearing zones, with notable intercepts of up to 149 meters (489 feet) at 0.95 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. The identified deposit spans over 1,000m x 100m x 300m within a known strike length of 1,700m, indicating an exploration potential of 79.5 million tonnes, with an average grade of 0.8 g/t gold, translating to a potential 2 million ounces. Lazerson stated that there is now sufficient data to proceed with a NI 43-101 Compliant Mineral Resource Estimate. Historically, exploration at Fran focused on high-grade vein targets for underground mining, leaving the bulk tonnage potential largely unexplored. However, North Bay's latest review has shifted its strategy, incorporating both high-grade surface material for processing at its Bishop Gold Mill and ongoing evaluation of the mass tonnage gold deposit for future large-scale mining opportunities. Zinnwald Lithium wins Saxony government endorsement for lithium project after robust PFS

Zinnwald Lithium PLC (LSE:ZNWD, OTC:ZNWLF) chief executive Anton du Plessis talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s recently published pre-feasibility study (PFS) for its Zinnwald Lithium Project, located in Saxony, Germany. The project is designed to supply battery-grade lithium hydroxide to the European market and has now received public backing from the Saxony government. Du Plessis outlined that the PFS demonstrates a scalable, long-life mining operation, starting with 18,000 tonnes per annum of lithium hydroxide and potentially scaling to 35,000 tonnes in a second phase. He stated, “We published our PFS on Monday that showed an economic project of significant scale… a globally significant project in terms of scale.” The economics were highlighted as robust, with a post-tax NPV of €2.20 billion and an internal rate of return of approximately 20%.
