Nah, that's not it at all. But I can certainly understand you not getting it.

Here, for starters: (from a traders profile):

Investment Philosophy: I never bash another stock. That's somebody's food on the table. Alot of theories of why this is done, but definitely the person is an a-hole.

Afaic, having such an "Investment Philosophy" might mean that you can't ever post NEGATIVE/CRITICAL DD for fear of being an "a-hole" and/or for fear of taking food off someones table. (Or for fear of "jinxing" the ticker). Really? So, instead, some pumpers might believe they must post ONLY positive things even if that might mean posting BS and/or being DISINGENUOUS. (After all, we wouldn't want to say anything that might possibly hurt that all-important, to some, pps would we?). So who, then, is left to post such NEGATIVE things if the negative things might actually be the TRUTH? Why the "bashers" of course!! Yep, the "a-holes"!!

But why don't you and your ilk ever mention GS himself and HIS "bashing"? Hell, GS even has his own "ShitList" of tickers and CEOs!! So is GS, then, an "a-hole" as that trader with that crap "Investment Philosophy" suggests? I don't think so. And why? Because saying what you believe to be TRUTH is a GOOD thing!! But yet that TRUTH still often gets refuted by the pumpers. Yep, sure does. And about taking food off the table. Well, perhaps it's a good thing to warn people not to put too much food ON the table to begin with. Ya think?
