John the baptist,
asked the disciples for them to make sure if Jesus was who he said he was, when the Lord responded as he did, it was enough for John to go the grave with.
He was confident in his knowledge of the scriptures and believed in what he had experienced personally and radically in his own life. Enough for him to be imprisoned, where later he lost his life.
Though he did have a moment of wavering it seemed, it only took a little encouragement for him to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Even though we think that Jesus should make a personal encounter, his word(s) are enough power to strengthen our hearts and our spirit, clear our minds and give us the assuredness to trust in Him.
Sometimes the Lord will personally step into our lives and *radically change us too.
Just an everyday Joe like others, who appreciates encouragement, and is learning more and more to rely on God's promises. GODBLESS.
It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, "Go away, I'm looking for the truth," and so it goes away. Puzzling.
