He is trying to change a culture of complacency and acceptance of utter failure in the organization. He is doing it by (big picture) teaching the Lions to approach the game with unrelenting aggression and yes - taking risks. The risk taking is both quantitative (if there is a 50.5% chance of conversion on a 4th down they will go for it) and big picture behavior modification. I don't know why he didn't take the punt. They are already in the playoffs. Maybe he didn't want to risk injuries this late in the season? Or he was just angry. I will stop posting about the Lions now. Sorry for the off topic conversation everyone.
