Buffett may be buying homebuilder shares because he expects the Fed to cut interest rates sharply in 2024. This would (most likely) also bring down longer-term and mortgage rates. More people would buy homes.

In addition, the government could release FnF from conservatorship to expand their operations, leading to even more home sales and more revenue for homebuilders. But the expectation of Fed cuts alone could be enough for Buffett to buy their shares

2. With a unanimous verdicts , the time is now to exit conservatorship.
Otherwise, as navycmdr said why did we have high volume at 15 million without any good news?
Why? It doesn't make sense
