Will the Emily GT be built in the Netherlands soon? It would be preferred by EV Electric CEO Jihad Mohammad, he reported today in a live interview via Facebook with Saabberichten editor-in-chief Erno Reuvekamp. He says: "Starting production in Trollhättan is not going to work for now. There is practically nothing left: land and buildings, nothing else. The year 2024 will be over before we can produce plenty there and own lands and installations. I'm therefore thinking of a contract manufacturer to build Emily GT. He can still work this year and of the many manufacturers that are there VDL in the Netherlands* strongly my preference. "So that's how it goes, dear Saab fans! 😉 The car factory of the VDL group is based in Born. It's the former Volvo NedCar and they were building Minis on the order of BMW until recently.
