They flat out announced in the recent PRs the silk shown was from the recent SUCCESSFUL trial run.

What part of “silk from this production cycle” makes it unclear where the silk came from, and when it was produced?

As for whether Kim will be willing to sell raw silk moving forward, I don’t think I’d rely on history as a guide. Kim and the rest of the team keep learning and growing. No reason to assume they will continue with historical patterns since they keep changing and evolving as they go.
