2023 has been the year for mega cap, large cap, and midcap companies
Small cap, smaller cap, very small cap, micro cap and nano cap companies have lagged by a wide margin
Investors have favored companies that have earnings, meaning profits over perennially money losing companies
The stock market has a way of becoming uncomfortably rational, at least for the True Believers
The chart is a one year comparison with the Russell 2000 small cap ETF
I like what Jeremy Grantham said about them in a Bloomberg interview: “flakey Russell 2000 companies that have no earnings”

I am writing a book, American Cars of 1958. Check often for the latest addition. https://investorshub.advfn.com/American-Cars-of-1958-37252/
