I supplied equipment and actually got to go to 3 Eagles concerts in the Southeast US and what was astonishing to me is the guys DO NOT speak to each other. They each have a manager/handler who does their deeds. It’s really sad. It’s all about business and nothing else. Everyone sees it, everyone just lives with it, as far as I can tell.

I look for a book to be written by their FOH mixer guy or stage mixer or their chief rigger.

It looks to me like it’s Henley at the center

That's it pretty much and yes, it's 100% ALWAYS been Henley who's the harsh one and until Glen Frey passed away on rather short notice, he was chief ally to Henley. Those two were the lawsuit filers, the control of mgt decisions, hire, fire, antagonize, etc. NOT nice guys despite their outward charade and public personas of "Hey bro, we're just mellow dudes from the 60's and 70's out here making music" blah blah.

Easily a $100 million plus net worth for Henley and the dude just CAN NOT be happy and leave things lay or be low key.

Coolest most genuine of them all - is Joe Walsh and Don Felder, both still alive.

Walsh has been clean and sober for a few decades now and has MANY friends "in the business" as dear friends and plays on their albums/recordings no-charge, talks to fans as equals, has a HAM amateur radio license since being a teen, and will sit "on air" and just shoot the breeze with folks and talk shop, etc. Genuine nice guy and got waaay nicer and mellow the more he got sober.

Felder - he went off and made a decent solo career, he and Walsh are still good friends though Walsh has to "tow the line" w/o being to open about it or Henley gets pissed etc. Henley knows that he needs Walsh or he's got nothing left.

Go to Youtube and watch Joe Walsh "going to Australia interview" and "How to set up and tune a new Gibson guitar workshop" and just other interviews. He's freaking SMART AS A WIT despite what is a sort of "odd" way he talks which is apparently same as it's been since birth. Many thought he had a stroke or something with his speaking and odd face gestures - but it's "Just the way I am" thing. Again, smart as they get IMO. And guitar - he's a master class player. He's played on soo many other people's recordings it's probably too many to count.

I'd bet there would be a serious Eagles Hollywood Biopic film sort of like the Queen and Elton John bio-movies EXCEPT I'd bet money it's Henley who is NO FREAKING WAY as it would give too much credit and glory and "who wrote what hit and who was the most talented" blah blah to OTHER band members than himself !! He's a real hard ass from every time I've watched him and seen him.

The Eagles made the California laid back lifestyle music scene and put it on the global map - them and a few others like Jackson Browne and Carly Simon and James Taylor and a few others. They personified the CA kick back 70's scene. Jackson Browne wrote "Take It Easy" and thought it was a dud. He played it for good friend Glen Frey of the Eagles who helped him juuust tweak and "polish" it a tad and told him he had a winner and it went to be a mega hit when Frey asked if the Eagles could record it, for Jackson.

Jackson STILL thanks those dudes for the royalty checks that rolled in like gold in the mailbox from that ONE SONG alone, LOL !!!

Over a $100 mil plus net worth for Henley and Frey and those two dudes just could not relax and mend bridges and stop burning bridges and just live a blessed and mellow life with the years they have/had left on earth WTF !!

Joe Walsh (and I believe Felder too) - HE I believe is VERY much in the "I'm done fighting and bickering and being in lawsuits - I'm going to try and live a simple rest of my life, make music till I drop and screw all the other BS stuff."

Time is too short - every one of these dudes can drop any day, any time at the age they are now and history of hard living and hard drugging etc. I can't imagine being sooo freaking financially well off and STILL not being able to just "get along" and "live and enjoy life and try and do some good" with other people and cut the lawsuits and mo mo more money bullshit - makes ZERO sense to me !!
