Thanks! That I will. I hope whatever you do is economically justifiable as well!

Christmas Day is the most awesome day to get work done. No one calls. No traffic. Only bummer is capitalism largely takes the day off. Capital & it's worship should never take days off. It's just downright inefficient!

Honestly, one of the best things I have ever done is ditch Christmas. It's much less stressful, cheaper, I save tons of time not consuming stuff, I don't have to go anywhere & see people I rarely see and oftentimes don't like & pretend I missed and like them, receive & impart "gifts" that are often thoughtlessly purchased and which one has to pretend to adore, and so much more! I hardly even think about the approaching day anymore, and likely wouldn't at all if it wasn't for Christmas music everywhere & strangers wishing me a "happy holidays" or (worse) "merry Christmas". After a few years (it was 5 or 6 for me), one even stops thoughtlessly saying "Merry Christmas" in reply! Cultural imprinting is hard to break sometimes.

Don't even get me started on conspicuous consumption.

And it doesn't make much sense to celebrate, as I'm not a Christian (I'm an atheist, literally the most distrusted & despised minority group in 'Murika. We're #1! We beat Muslims!)

Just thought I'd share, in case some troubled young kid is questioning his/her belief in god and/or Christmas, wondering if they are alone in this world ... if they can still find love & happiness without god, consumption, or pressured societitial norms. You can, 'lil shaver, yes you can.

New year's isn't as good as Christmas day for working, but at least the important consumption hubs are open. 👍🏼🙄
