IMO- I think thomas and kav want to delay everything so orangefatface can keep trying to campaign, so they may influence the other orangeslug lovers on the bench to throw it back to the states and wash their hands of that and not put themselves in a historically bad position.

I don't think even they could vote that the president is above the law given we saw first hand what a criminal in that position can do with it.

I think they'll throw it back. But it's still very debatable because they did accept Smiths request I believe.
