Battelle invented Radiogel over two decades ago. RDGL licensed the tech from Battelle until 2022 when the last patent expired. So the tech is public domain now.

RDGL now owns the Radiogel trademark and has a weak improved process patent. RDGL has applied for some other weak delivery system patents.

There's a European competitor already in human trials there, although they use beads containing Y90 in a gel matrix vs. the Battelle/RDGL version that uses freely dispersed Y90 phosphate in the gel matrix. Likewise there is a competitor working with Duke University, but not in human trials yet. There may be others we don't know of.

In any case, the only thing that can save RDGL now is getting Radiogel to human trials, and per MK's last update, that is his lowest priority at moment. Like I wrote, the guy is a gross incompetent and a confirmed serial liar to boot.
