Speaking of muddying the waters… some seem to be under the impression that commercial production cannot or will not begin until after the hybridization trials are complete.

Kim’s plan since at least 2018 has been to work on the hybridization program and transition to the hybrids as they progressed. This was to run concurrently with production. They are not mutually exclusive.

Obviously we know what happened after the successful third party pilot success… they were forced to accelerate the hybrid program. We have no reason to believe that a third party can’t get rolling with production while the hybridization program continues.

We’ll see.
