LocWolf, that is an interesting detail, which you and I both picked up on; a detail which was inconspicuously embedded in HDC's Motion to Dismiss With Prejudice. I was curious, and still am, as to why HDC would dismiss with no recourse, but Intel agrees to the dismissal, but WITH recourse. It must mean something, but exactly what I just don't know.

Charles....if HDC could not dig up enough clear evidence during the latest discovery phase that would weigh heavily on the out come. As big as Intel is we heard from Alan stating that he believes that Intel might not even know if anyone in their vast domain used any of our patented technology. So with doubt Intel probably figured they will settle this matter and move on but would not pay out the money unless HDC (agreed) and that is exactly what HDC did they agreed with Intel (as the words state) but furthermore with going HDC more money than that (possible) patent technology usage Intel forced the issue that HDC could no longer sue them but left the door open that Intel could hammer HDC into the ground if HDC were to take an attitude. Yes this sucks but is totally logical and practical is it not?

As for Intel material even Alan once said $200 million and he also felt as I indicating that the discovery phase was the most likely area that collapsed any hope for a larger settlement or to have moved forward in Texas court. Now recall both HDC/Intel did not want to risk court....the important word HDC did not so how warm and fuzzy is that yet in the same breath Intel did not want to proceed forward with Judge Albright did they? So why settle with the GOD Father? It seems the discovery phase broke the camel back, I mean HDC's however, with the death of our CEO who really knows for sure.

Mr. Fromholzer had to go in order for new directors to come in however I am curious why we didn't hear anything about Mr. Morrison leaving first before Mr. Fromholzer. Mr. Fromholzer was closer to George so he actually was retiring but I'm still hung up on HDC to be a great experience of his business career?. I won't ever I believe that line unless Intel starts crapping gold bars for HDC....where in the world is that damn leprechaun
