I think your sentiment is totally warranted man. Ladin was clearly a slimy a$$hole. The previous company was clearly a POS, as was the one before that.

But, at least MacKay "seems" legit on paper, based on his history and resume. So, I'm personally choosing to stay positive that he and his business partners will pull through, until they actually prove us otherwise.

That said, I am equally frustrated with the lack of progress and communication thus far.

Just sharing my opinion.
