One would hope that the panel would take the relative wellness of the two trials into consideration. Provenge did show median and three-year survival benefits in both trial populations.

Not much is known publicly about what happened in 9902A regarding those patients who enrolled in Apr 2002 or later, especially the specifics about ttp. I have no idea, and I don't think anyone outside the company has any idea either.
