If there is anyone out there who doesn't understand how if BSR drops by only 18 in 16 Hours can be calculated as a sale of one VOS sold then you should read this --->

Understanding the simple concept of how BSR Is Calulated can be used to estimate how many VOS Dongles have been sold on Amazon?

First thing you have to understand about the BSR, is that it is a RANK based on sales rate with other products in a particular category. It is determined by the quantities sold and not based on any value of what was sold. The lower the number the more that product has sold with respect to the other products in the same category. A Ranking of 1 means that the product has sold more in quantity than the rest of products in that category at that particular time.

A RATE is a derivative and can be shown as in dq/dt for us educated folks.
It's a derivative and not an exact quantity, If it was an exact quantity and not a rate it would say how many were sold!

To simplify what a derivative is,
If you sell 1 product that is a quanity
If you sold 1 product in 10 minutes that is a rate, another words 6 products per hour if that rate continued
If you sold 1 product in 10 minutes and then didn't sell anymore in the next 50 minutes then your rate decreases to 1 product per hour, but your quantity sold still remains 1 product.
If you only sold 1 per day, at the time you sold your product your rate 1 per whatever time period you use. So what does Amazon use for the smallest time period. It doesn't matter. But you do see the ranking based on rate decrease due to the sale. But as time goes on without a sale you then see the ranking increase because you have sold less in the new time period. It does NOT mean there were returns. Only an idiot would believe that.

Each time the BSR drops significantly then it is clearly obvious 1 or more have been sold.
Each time the BSR slightly increases then it is clearly obvious none were sold.
A big increase in BSR is a short time period would indicate a return calculated.
A big decrease in BSR in a short time period would indicate more than 1 sold.

As you approach a lower number the decrease in BSR is smaller when 1 is sold and the increase is higher when none are sold over a time period.
As you approach a higher number the decrease in BSR is larger when 1 is sold and the
increase is smaller when none are sold over a time period.

It's very simply logic and math :)
