They’ve invested billions, possess almost unlimited resources, have purchased long established successful healthcare companies, hired the brightest minds, and have still failed to move the healthcare needle in any meaningful way.

You think they were in a meeting when someone suggested ‘How about this old guy? He’s a bit shady but was reasonably successful 30 years ago, hasn’t done much since… his companies are all empty non-trading shells, he’s ego-driven and narcissistic, had some legal issues with the SEC, a bunch of court cases and a bankruptcy or two - but he does have some made up awards - could be a perfect fit.’

Amazon wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole.
