Why use photos of stainless steel equipment used in the food processing industry that would NEVER be used in a mining operation?



That is simply a stock image of a bioreactor. If the company has actually discovered an environmentally friendly method of extracting metals from rocks, it's possible that it might utilize either bacteria or enzymes do it. If that is the case then they would have to use a bioreactor similar to the one shown on their website to do the extraction

Others have used bioreactors for similar purposes, for example here's an old paper taken from the scientific journal Nature that describes a technique that uses bacteria to extract pure metals from electronic waste:

Notice that using bacteria in metal extraction is much more environmentally friendly than traditional methods, so if this Genesis technology actually works, it very well might use a bioreactor of some sort. I don't think that the description on the company's website is detailed enough for us to understand how their proposed process would work, if it truly scalable etc. But if does everything that the company claims it does, there's no reason to assume that it couldn't use a bioreactor.
