.....we're safely out of 2023................but on the DIVIDEND/ordinary income vs. absorbed into security value (and subject to LTCG vs regular income)..........the IRS will sit down and review a taxpayer claim..............and the IRS does give considerations and sometimes makes favorable rulings.............even if that ruling does not match up with the FDIC's bully tactics................only problem is, ya gotta pay the disputed tax, even when protesting............the penalty fee = 8% and the interest is like 6%????...............CALCULATED. but not compounded, DAILY............................and if I do go to jail over UWBI...........my tax adviser, BIBI BOB, is going with me.............
