A favorable judgement would free up and enable options for the TMMI management to act. I would imagine things to move at a more feverish pace.

One thing is to win the judgement. But does one expect to collect anything from Panik. If Panik can see the light ahead of a oncoming train-wreck, and that he instead proposes a deal with TMMI. That he releases any claim vs. 'The Code' in question between both companies in return for a more favorable deal against him.
