Well, if you we’re actually a trader you would understand the strategies of the broker/dealers. They will make money in both directions regardless of losing money with current shorts. Normally, it’s just a matter of time for them. What can and does hurt them is large buyers stepping in and boosting/controlling the bid making it impossible for them to control same as well as buying the ask. This is what we all witnessed, market wide, in 21’.
