Could be this is a just a huge salary dump, and cost savings by Notre Dame on a project they no longer feel is viable.



Yeah, sure. I've headed a department of research at a prestigious University for decades and I am going to place some loyal employees with a scam operation headed by a _____ (insert your slur of choice).

You really need to not take everything you read on the internet at face value.


But painting everything as valueless is acceptable.
