re Diagnostics: That's enlightening and surprising given the heft of the corporate lobby. One would think that this is an easily addressable issue.

There are lots of niche areas of medicine where, for a variety of reasons, even care with good efficacy, that strongly benefits patients, has trouble making $.

Diagnostics is one, but others are treatments that produce reduction in side effects or subjective aspects of a disease. Another is, for somewhat mysterious-to-me reasons, eye treatments.

Anyone have others?
