For example, someone who 5 years ago bought 10,000 shares at $.50 ($5,000) could have sold them for $12 Friday instead of the previous $8 for them Thursday.

Guess they missed their big chance?

Just remember, the important thing is to talk about the $4 difference and not the $4,990 loss.
