Dear Sir,
Your message was forwarded to me earlier today from our support team, and I wanted to reach out to you directly. As unfortunate as today’s news was, the discontinued transaction with Yuengling’s Ice Cream was due to unforeseeable circumstances. It was in no way a reflection on our company, as our intentions were always to complete the merger. This is a very involved process and the mechanics of such a transaction were such the parties could not close by the 15th of November.
Every decision we make is through the lens of maintaining our #ArtistFirst mission and business integrity. I am writing to you to convey my personal regrets, as the PickleJar CEO, to today’s news, as this has been a very costly process to our company – both financially and emotionally. I most certainly empathize with your frustration. The PickleJar team is equally disappointed. That being said, I also wanted to assure you that we have made plans to continue on the course in our public company pursuits and will be making an announcement very soon.
As a driver, you most certainly know “there are no shortcuts.” And the team at PickleJar wants to make sure we do things right and in an honorable way. I cannot express enough my thankfulness for your continued support, in spite of this detour. As a company, we didn’t get to this point by giving up easily. In fact, it is the tenaciousness of this team - not to mention our artists, fans and partners - which has continued to be the core driver on our journey. And for those who are on this path with us, I am forever grateful for their understanding.
