Interesting play - I like the Web3/Blockchain/Decentralized aspect of it for a next generation social media platform. I made YouTube videos for a while, making some monthly ad revenue so I understand how bigger influencers would like a more decentralized platform with more control of the their work and the associated ad revenue.

If DigitalAge can just lock down a couple dozen super-star influencers, who then spread the message about how it benefits them financially over traditional social media platforms, this new platform might stand a chance of success as there is a massive base of people in the world who hate centralized tech platforms.

Curiously, what actually caught my attention first was the quality and speed of the video that was playing on the web page. That's not a moot point for me as I'm on an old slow-speed DSL line as I don't get high-speed cable or fiber internet where I live, though I think I could finally upgrade to Starlink now. For me, only YouTube videos stream smoothly and that's if I don't go above 720p, or above 480p in most cases.

Took a starter while I dig deeper. Not sure how quick the platform will roll out.
