Hi Al, what makes the Jan 6th attack on the Capitol an insurrection vs. a protest that got out of hand is the intent of the attack was to prevent a due process that the misguided and misinformed attackers thought was a mandatory prerequisite described in our Constitution for declaring Joe Biden the president-elect.
