To All Board Members
I am not here to fight anyone. I find it rather ridiculous that I am roasted for sharing a simple view of my trip. To be hammered for not providing DD that others want is to be expected.
I have been investing on my own since 1970. I tend to visit every company once I have a position that approaches a particular investment amount. When I used to be a broker with PaineWebber, I visited many, many companies. In all of my appointments, meetings and trips to CEOs, CFOs, middle management etc, I have never once thought of asking to see signed contracts, documentation of sensitive internal materials, or any other proprietary information. NEVER! I find it absolutely laughable that I have been asked, or rather demanded that I produce documentation of such items.
If I ever did receive any inside information for these companies, it was rarely something that I felt was to profit from purchasing shares in that company for a quick flip. The information that I dig for is for my use, which I am glad to share and have. I might add that I am almost always in a stock for the long haul.
I have visited companies much smaller than CKYS and at times have been fortunate enough to visit some giants. It has never occurred to me to enter a meeting and demand any such information or items that I was asked about today. You should have read a few of the PMs that were sent to me today.
Sure, I'm an idiot, a joke, worthless, etc. You get the just of some of the posts. And those were the nice ones. It's a free country, and those of you who are unhappy that I don't have and therefore can't provide you with the inside information that you need to make your investment decisions, can call me whatever you want.
I have really enjoyed sharing some of the info that I learned and shared. I own quite a few other stocks, and I enjoy receiving others' DD which they chose to share. Keep in mind, I came back very comfortable with my visit. Does that mean we will see a home run here? Of course not. Just my DD for my own use. And that's what I use for my own decision. Those of you who believe it was a worthless trip, great! Go yourself and do your own DD. Go ask Jim for proof of contracts and such. Maybe he will share everything with you.
