If we took all the money we didn't have to drop on Iraq and gave it to the same companies to build solar pannels and widmills we would be better off .........even if they aren't cost effecient.

By the way I have 200w of solar pannels that produce 500w / day or 180kwh of electricity / year. at 15 cents / kwh thats $27 worth of electricity I use / year.

The system cost $2,000 so my return on investment is 1.35% if the system would last forever but it doesn't because the batteries need to be replaced every once in awhile

Conservation is better than producing more.
