Is it what "real companies do"? I do not see TSLA dropping PRs for every communication they have with the DOJ or SEC over various lawsuits. Yet, investors aren't screaming for those details. Or, what about GM, Stellantis and Ford negotiation details with UAW? We hear some news updates from UAW as they try to get sentiment on their side, but not OEMs publicly updating shareholders with "Today we countered UAW demands with $$$ and they refused. We will be doing XYZ and update shareholders when UAW responds..." No, they will put out a PR when the negotiations conclude.
