Yep. They fled to the mountains.
The whole issue however is that there is: 2 groups of dicussion here.

Those that go before anything, and those that(in this case) flee to the mountains. (thats no ESCAPE of ALL things though).

You would agree that the Lords coming is not = to the "fleeing" of people. (so this could not be inregards to a rapture/or non rapture 2nd coming MEET YOU IN THE AIR COMBO)

Here are a few verses for OBSERVATION.

Rev 4:1 ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and [one] sat on the throne.

Alright 2 things taking place.
1)Come up hither/in the spirit/in heaven.
2)once this occurs....."I will shew the things which must be HEREAFTER." <<<<<<<<

Alright now look at:
Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Alright 2 things taking place.
1) "they" proclaim REDEEMED by thy blood.
(this is not any angels. So this only leaves Humans).
From everywhere. - redeemed us to God.
2)the book (all thats in it-all 7years worth) is going to be opened. (BUT HASNT YET). (but the "redeemed are there already, out of every kindred,and tongue, and people, and nation.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Alright 2 things taking place.
1)Elders already there.
2)these (others) 2ndary- came out of great tribulation (later on).

Everyone should read CHAPTER 8.
REALIZE MOST OF THE MAJOR "GREAT TRIBULATION EVENTS" *start happening.
And yet- many , many believers are already dying left and right for their faith, by chapter 7.

Here is what the "rapture concept" is identical to.
Which does happen in Chapter 11 (2 witnesses)

11:11 ¶ And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.


Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Also God verifies things in the mouth of 2 or more witnesses.
so the rapture.....is a taking up of both o/t and n/testament saints.
SHOWING EQUALITY IN RELATIONSHIP AS *ONE BODY OF CHRIST-THE FAITHFUL.

here is a contrast of "groups" side by side verses.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days.

Alright 2 things taking place.
1)"child" caught up unto God (who the child represents is a good topic to discuss)
2)woman-again (who she represents it worth discussing)
she FLEES to the mountains.

2 examples of opposite actions.
one FLEES
one is caught up unto God AND HIS THRONE-HEAVEN.

Anyways my friends.....
I love examining line by line, precept by precept.
I could go on for hours. I will stop here though.
**The bible usually FILLS ITS PAGES with a flowing idea that is found throughout most all stories/ parables/ actions that take place.
This is why we know the bible to be complete.
Its fluency though written over 1,400 years span time, by over 40 different writers, on different continents- yet it flows like nothing else.
It transcends through "temporal society views" and to this second speaks/answers the questions for today/tomorrow/ETERNITY.
