I've never missed a Rangers playoff game going back to 1996, so this will be a first. Yeah, Friday's game was a kick in the nutsack for sure, but it is just so loud (really loud!) and you're up and down and up and down and yelling until your voice is gone....I'm too old for that much excitement. While I want to be there, sometimes it's easier in front of the TV.
I figure if they sweep, they'll win in AZ so won't matter. If they come back home to win, I'll be there for Games 6 and 7.
I've NEVER had my team win it all while I was there so I'm holding back my exuberance level. Of course, in the past it was me that jinxed them, but this is the new and improved Derf.
I have had some money rolling in lately, so just waiting for the house to crumble or something to take the money away. Thought we were gonna flood away last night.
