Should point out that I've actually owned both of those funds before their listed Creation Dates which is because they weren't converted to Admiral funds until about 25 years ago. I was a very early client of Vanguard and a huge fan of Vanguard's founder John Bogle, the creator and main promoter of the modern index stock fund. Vanguard dates back to 1975. I owned Fidelity funds, and individual investments prior to then. Bought my first share of stock when I was age 19 and my first [corp] bond a few years later.
