Not the same at all imo.

The date you posted from 2 years ago was clearly manipulation and IIROC jumped on it.

This time at minimum it’s a market reaction to an obvious bottom reversal, with a strong break out.

IIROC does not just issue those company request statements regarding price movements, Willy-Nilly first they will look themselves to see if there is a reason for the movement.
And I’m sure they would have determined it’s just a bottom reversal with a lot of volume/excitement, because of news that is imminent.

And I’m sure they also have determined what would be acceptable for a price rise, knowing we were both below the 50 day moving average and the 200 day moving average.
I just shrug, when somebody asks why are we getting this kind of price rise. Because I asked myself why would somebody think we deserve to be here at this low of a share price?
