What I said was if your broker is holding the funds from the shares sold as collateral until the short position is covered. It would have nothing to do with BioAmber.
It is collateral held until the investor returns the shares borrowed. Once again there was barely any short interest at the end of FKA BioAmbers trading so it doesn’t matter anyway. If someone was holding an open short position then they would have a perfect scenario as the stock was worthless
