Re the end of the Trademark case - no, I don't know how long it will go on.

Looking at the current Board-set schedule, the last date, for a "Request for Oral Hearing" (not the hearing itself), is 9/21/2024. The Trademark Board does not care about penny-stock-players' anxiety, and it isn't overly much in a hurry to force speedy hearings.

The most we saw in early 2023 was the Board's patience wear thin at all the requests for suspension for negotiation. The Board finally called Ilegal Metzcal on it, and they showed proof of real settlement negotiations in early 2023.

However, as we know, that isn't proof of Nixon's own good faith willingness to negotiate, let alone any concern by him for shareholders. We have no external evidence that he actually settled with them.

You'd think that after nearly 3 years, both sides would be ready to move forward and put their settlement ideas out there into the market, especially since we know that the Mezcal market is simmering and ready to boil.

We know that Bacardi sees the huge potential in Ilegal Mezcal. We know that Ilegal Mezcal saw something in the trademark "Illegal Brands" worth haggling over.

On paper Nixon shows plans to open Takiza Taco & Tequila Bar(s), which arguably would be great places for people to hopefully glug down Ilegal Mezcal, in a tasteful way, of course.

But there's only threadbare evidence that Nixon is moving forward.

Nixon wasted time and money with El Cazo Mexican Kitchen.

Almost a year has passed since he told the Denver Post he'd open his Takiza place on Wynkoop St in the spring of 2023. Nixon only got his H&R license for the place a few months ago, and so far, there are no eyes-on-the-ground reports that the former Margs Taco Bistro is being renovated.

Nixon also says he's going to open a 2nd Takiza place at the address of his Glendale/Citiset/City Set Illegal Burger, but there's also no confirmation that that is happening.

So far, Hamilton and Associates Law Group PA is still Nixon's agent for Nixon Restaurant Group in Florida, so that's a good thing; but I check on a regular basis to see if they have given up.

Even the best boutique law firm that specializes in bringing corporations to public trading, whether via Edgar or the OTC Markets alternate reporting standard, cannot prevent its client from failing due to poor management decisions. However, the best counter argument to this cry-me-a-river-view is that they took the job in the first place. I can't imagine that they signed on without knowing what was going on, without seeing a profitable outcome (at least for themselves).
