You don't get a dividend unless you own the shares. People who short a stock aren't the true owners, they borrow against it hoping for a lower price. If and when they actually purchase the stock at the lower price, then they pocket the difference.

People who were short, should have picked up their shares back below .50 last month. IMO, it's too late for that.

I was hoping for the lower gap fill, but it never happened. I still have plenty though as I'm about to go free. It's about time!
