It's weird. I saw a tweet this morning that brought up the same topic. The poster said the same thing about the term 'semitism' and that the Jewish folk invented that phrase for themselves after the holocaust to gain attention toward their plight. There was no link provided by the poster so I could not fact check, it got buried and now I can't find it.

I asked google seven different ways from Sunday to verify the claim and came up empty. Even the dictionary defines it as anti Jewish sentiment.🤷
