So you went and bought yourself a car, and made a few payments. But before long, since you bought your car early on before the sales appeared at the new lower price, you decide that you don't really like the car and that the CEO of the company that built the car somehow is the reason you bought the car. And you hate that. But you never sell the car or trade the car back in.
Soon, you drive it to the local bar (cause they will usually listen) and go in and tell everyone that the car is a lemon, the company is no good and never was and the CEO is dishonest etc. All the while trying to attract an equally unhappy crowd. You go outside complaining and throw dirt in the front seat, smear dirt all over the paint job and kick the fenders, at the same time telling anybody that bothered to listen, how smart and experienced you are at buying cars and how sorry this particular company is.
Meanwhile a guy pulls into the parking lot in a nearly identical car with a smile on his face and his arm around a beautiful girl. He bought his car at about the same price as you did. After looking at dozens of other cars, that one was selected out of all the rest. He has never had any problem with his car, in fact he seems very proud of his car and is quite glad that he found it.
Unable to deal with his happiness you decide that you must do more (to help the possible future owners of this make/model of car). So you ridicule him publicly and then when you get a chance, you go over to the happy guys car and do a little damage to it. (to protect the possible future owners of this make/model of car). Now you feel a little better but are still not quite satisfied that the entire world knows just how unhappy "you" are. (still in the name of helping other possible owners). Later you come back with a friend and do a little more damage to it. It does nothing to help the value of your car, nor has any of your other actions.
You don't trade your car or sell your car, or even look around for another car. Makes all the sense in the world, as you continue to hang on to it, but you don't like your car.
But it is the other guy, the happy guy, who just doesn't understand, who just won't listen to your type of reasoning you tell yourself. and the CEO of the stupid company that built the car. As you have told everyone, you're the smartest guy you know! Smarter than a CEO.

(or maybe you are the type that only looked at that make/model car and never bought. Calling out current owners just because it makes you feel better. It is very likely you have several cars you don't like.)
