Maybe I could have explained it slightly better: if I buy any amt of shares its recorded as shares traded against the the float or OS, when I in turn sell those same shares it is recorded yet again against the Float .. if Im an active day trader for example every buy and every sell I do is traded against the float for that day .... it really pretty simple.. and look I didn't even have to curse to dumb it down further

ex: I buy and sell 1000 shares of the same stock 10x in a day it will be recorded as 20k shares traded against the float for that day just from me alone
