$AMZN - holding my position through the pain.
I saw yesterday an article about $TGT that they predicted 50,000 stores (not just Target) will close over the coming years due to theft.
The low cost grocery stores are getting killed due to high labor costs, or they can't find people for the price they are willing to pay.
I have used $WMT walmart delivery for non-food products and it's a good deal. They shop for me.
But I am not a $AMZN prime sub and won't be shopping during their Oct 10'th promo

I work as a contractor at a fortune 200 company in IT. They are on target to move to Amazon AWS in a multi year transition. I think they are crazy to rely on the Cloud. But I am retiring in, lets see, 87 days. So it won't be my problem. Their secondary cloud vendor is Microsoft.
AWS is a rent to own. That's why Amazon buys the hardware and takes the depreciation write down and lowers their taxes.
The usage revenue should be catching up fast. (Note to Senator Warren, if you want to raise more taxes, increase the depreciation rules).
