I'm betting that enthusiast level 14th gen (14900K) has an improved memory controller (over my 13900KS). Not expecting much else pound for pound but but the MC improvements from 12th gen to 13th were huge (yes, I realize that 14th gen is just a refresh). Was able to get 7200 MT/s straight away (with 13th gen) as opposed to 6400 stable previously via 12th (on the same board/rtx4090 combo).

Going to sink the 14900K in my Z690 Master and give one of the the GSKILL 8000 kits a shot. I got 8000 to boot a while back but it was just not stable with my 13900KS..2 days of tweaking and no luck. Thought about running a Tachyon (double DIMM OC board) but I really like the features on My Master.

Off Topic? ... Maybe, but at least its truthful (truthful...that's good shit) and it is the rig that I am currently trading/gaming on... so I suppose it does pertain (as I have bought and sold a lot of WNFT while on this current build)
