The layer 2 was the most crucial step and it's sole purpose was to solidify our position now and in the future of blockchain development. Price remains stagnant, like the entire sector. Only ignorant folks are still whining about burns. No amount of NFT mints, Richmond clothes or Wellys burgers will burn this down. As for dapps we need gaming and defi. The only way we start making dents is big volume on the new swap. The only way the swap can burn Shib is if it's implemented on chain. The swap isn't just for Shib either. It will list hundreds of tokens and just like any other CEX or DEX, you can always convert any currency, including fiat, eth, stablecoins and eventually Shi. All with a wallet on the network. As safe and secure as ethereums L1. Pay no attention to the promoters. First Lucie says we need low fees to gain user base. Then jumps to we need volume and congestion to get fees higher. Then misspells tokenomics. It's estimated by devs that average Shibarium cost will be around .02. No confirmation on that or TPS on the network. To burn trillions at an average cost of 2 cents per transaction, well we'll need millions of transactions a day or a much higher average fee or a percent of Shib burned on top of bone 70/30 split fee when SS2.0 is released. The EIP-1559 upgrade tastes good if you're holding eth but were not ethereum. Polygon recently averaging 2 million daily transactions.
