Thanks for the information.
Rob had said the same thing regarding the OEM and embedded microphone issue, so at least they are consistent there. One would hope, however, that the OEM issue can get resolved sooner rather than later, because failure to resolve it sooner may mean NEVER. If ONEV is going to pitch in for the cost of an external mic, it would seem that the REMOTE would be a perfect fit, and better for ONEV to subsidize that and get the remote out there. I wonder what the range was for the failure with the embedded mic?
As for Telnor, what would be interesting to know is not so much the specific launch date, but the TIMEFRAME for the launch date (i.e., 0-1 months; 1-3 months; 3-6 months). Was your information provided by phone, or by e-mail? If by phone, what is the "feeling" you got in speaking with him? If by e-mail, I know one really can't get a "feeling" from the tone of an e-mail with the information that you provided.
India: that is disappointing that they are asking technical questions when they are at the point of supposedly inking a contract. One would think the technical questions would all have been addressed and put to rest prior to the contract language stage.
MCCv.3 is ONEV's fault entirely, in my mind. They were the ones who on their own said it would be launched in January, and they alone bear the blame for missing that timeframe.
Let's hope Telnor is more in the 0-1 month launch range!
