They propose to implement a Data Room regarding the JAF gas field

The proposal was made during the signing of a collaboration agreement for the exchange of statistical and technical information between Cenagas and the CNH

The National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) , in coordination with the National Natural Gas Control Center ( Cenagas ), could implement a Data Room regarding the JAF gas field, for its tender as a natural gas storage unit.

The above was proposed by Abraham David Alipi Mena , general director of Cenagas , during the signing of a collaboration agreement held this morning between both bodies.

The JAF field is located in the state of Veracruz and formally concluded its dry gas production in 2014, so in 2019 Cenagas requested the Ministry of Energy (Sener) for authorization to modify the title of the assignment A-0163- M-Campo JAF , with the purpose of transforming it into a gas tank.

Launch
In June of this year, the Center announced the launch of the corresponding call .
The Data Room would be a tool similar to the one that the CNH safeguards with the geophysical, seismic and geoseismic information , among others, of all the hydrocarbon deposits in the country studied and analyzed to date.
